The images of the strikes surfaced approximately an hour and a half after IDF Arabic Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued evacuation warnings to residents.

The Israel Air Force (IAF) conducted two waves of airstrikes on Hezbollah command centers located in the Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, the IDF announced on Sunday evening.

During its second wave of strikes, the IAF hit a total of twelve Hezbollah command centers, Israel's military said.

It noted that among the command centers struck included Hezbollah's intelligence unit, its coast-to-coast-sea missile unit, and Unit 4400, which is responsible for weapon smuggling from Iran through Syria and into Lebanon.

During its first wave of strikes, the IAF also hit more of the terror group's command centers.

The IDF noted that the terror command centers were deliberately embedded between civilian buildings and were used to direct terror activities against the State of Israel.

"This is a further example of how the Hezbollah terrorist organization cynically uses the Lebanese civilian population as a human shield," the IDF said and emphasized that it had warned civilians to evacuate before the strikes.

In both rounds of strikes, Israel's military issued warnings to Lebanese civilians in the area to evacuate.

Reuters images of the first wave of strikes surfaced approximately an hour and a half after IDF Arabic Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued evacuation warnings to residents in the Hadath and Borj El Brajneh areas.

In an X/Twitter post, Adraee wrote to those close to Hadath and Borj El Brajneh, "You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the IDF will operate in the near future."

The spokesperson advised to remain at a distance of no less than 500 meters, attaching a graphic that marked in red the location of the intended strike.
