Professor Gerald Steinberg is founder and president of NGO Monitor and professor of Political Studies at Bar Ilan University. A renowned scholar and public speaker on Middle East issues, Steinberg’s op-eds have been published in The Wall Street Journal (Europe), Financial Times, Ha’aretz, The Jerusalem Post, and other publications. He has appeared as a commentator on BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, and NPR. His book, Menachem Begin and the Israel-Egypt Peace Process: Between Ideology and Political Realism, (Indiana University Press), was published in 2019.
