Hannah Brown covers culture and has been the movie critic for
The Jerusalem Post since 2001.
Born and raised in New York City, she was a movie critic at
The New York Post, as well as a columnist and an editor in the business section there. Her first novel,
If I Could Tell You, inspired by her experiences raising a son with autism, was published by Vantage Point Books in New York in March 2012. Her short fiction has appeared in
Commentary,
The Jerusalem Post Magazine and
Short Story Quarterly.Two of her short stories were included in the anthology
Israel Short Stories, published by Ang-Lit Press in Tel Aviv in February 2011. She has published articles, essays and reviews for
Newsweek,
The Forward, and
The Jerusalem Report. From 2007-2008, she hosted a weekly radio show about movies on the RAM FM station. She lives with her two sons in Jerusalem.
