The Hollywood actress brings a new meaning to "Spooning" with her unique top made of 102 silver spoons at the premiere of her latest film.

Yes, ladies, we've reached that time of year when Hollywood star Cate Blanchett, 55, "has to" promote her latest feature. This requires her to embrace the full "all-inclusive" package, which means embarking on a PR journey that pulls her out of her Australian home and into the Hollywood glam scene—one that allows us to forget about our existential anxieties for a few hours.

The mother of four walked down the yellow carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, Borderlands, wearing a top designed by the Swedish brand Hodakova, which involved the use of no fewer than 102 silver spoons. The top featured exposed shoulders and a high neckline, extending down to the waist as a completely normal piece of clothing. It was paired with straight-cut tailored trousers and black pointed heels. So, why the use of spoons, you ask?

This isn't just an attempt to think outside the box and turn the brand name into some kind of gimmick (well, maybe a little), as the European fashion company is known for its commitment to sustainability, using "dead" materials and recycled items to create unique pieces.

Blanchett's stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, one of Hollywood's most influential figures who has often been dubbed the "Queen of the Red Carpet," took to Instagram to share the story behind the chosen top. "Cate is giving a whole new meaning to 'spooning!'" she declared, adding, "Believe it or not, this top is made of 102 spoons. Ellen Hodakova Larsson (the brand's designer) dedicates her life to building a fully sustainable fashion house and redefining the discourse on sustainable fashion today. Ellen uses her heritage, like these vintage spoons from rural Sweden, to create unexpected proportions and new associations. Grandma would be proud!"

In a video posted online, Stewart also revealed the source of another key element of Blanchett's look, as the actress showcased a stunning diamond ring by Louis Vuitton.

That's not all—Blanchett also appeared at the "Good Morning America" studios in New York just before the film's release this Friday. We're left wondering which character related to the film's plot she was supposed to promote with her meticulously styled outfit (similar to what Blake Lively has been doing recently). However, it seems that's not the case here, as we've noted one of the chicest looks we've seen on her. First, thanks to the oversized aviator sunglasses—something that easily throws us back to 70s fashion—especially when paired with an outfit that seemingly embodies denim. But it's not denim; it's a velvet pantsuit designed by American designer Brandon Maxwell. The highlight of this latest look, beyond the sleek blonde bob, is the unique belt with a wooden buckle effect, complemented by matching shoes from Christian Louboutin.
