Amid cancellations by foreign airlines, Air Haifa adds flights to Cyprus

With a backdrop of flight cancellations by foreign airlines, the new Israeli airline Air Haifa announced today (Monday) that it is expanding service on its Ben Gurion–Larnaca route. Throughout November, Air Haifa will operate up to six daily flights, providing passengers with an affordable option to Cyprus starting at $39 one-way and $98 round-trip.

The airline’s website offers a wide selection of flights to Cyprus in November, with a schedule that facilitates convenient connections to various European destinations via Larnaca. Amid current security concerns, Air Haifa’s flights will continue to operate out of Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport, providing easy access to Israel Railways. The airline also offers a flexible ticket policy that allows changes or cancellations up to 24 hours before departure, with future credit available through the website.

Following the northern airspace closure, Air Haifa plans to begin operations from Haifa International Airport starting December 1, subject to security assessments and necessary approvals. Air Haifa stated, “We eagerly await the start of our operations from Haifa Airport. Until then, we are leveraging the opportunity to operate from Ben Gurion, and in light of foreign airlines’ cancellations, we are offering a range of daily flights to Cyprus, providing the Israeli public with high availability and attractive prices, along with the chance to become familiar with Air Haifa, the airline of the north.”
