Amid the war: Dalton winery begins a new chapter
After a decade with Hakerem, the acclaimed Galilee winery switches to Global Wine and Spirit for distribution—a strategic move to reach new audiences.
Dalton Winery in Upper Galilee announced today it is transitioning to distribution and marketing through Global Wine and Spirit (GWS), ending a ten-year collaboration with Hakerem.
Founded nearly 30 years ago in the heart of Upper Galilee, Dalton was the first Israeli winery in the region, pioneering high-quality wine production in this unique area. Over the years, the winery has solidified its reputation as one of Israel’s finest, with its wines receiving recognition from wine experts and consumers both domestically and internationally.
Billy Haruni, co-owner of Dalton Winery, explained the shift: “The transition to Global Wine and Spirit marks a significant strategic step for us. We believe that combining Dalton’s tradition and excellence with Global’s capabilities and vision will allow us to continue expanding and reaching new audiences, both in Israel and on the international stage.”
