Apple plans to launch a new Mac series with M4 chips in November, with significant upgrades to the Mac mini and an expansion of standard memory to 16 gigabytes in some models.

Apple, which is known for its product innovations for the holiday season, plans to continue the tradition this year as well. It seems that the event planned for September, where the new iPhone 16 models will be revealed, will not be the company's only launch this year. According to new reports, Apple plans to reveal the new Mac models equipped with the advanced M4 chips this November.

However, it is still hard to completely rule out the possibility that Apple will hold the event in October. Last year, Apple announced a "Scary Fast" event on October 23 and held it on October 30, when it unveiled new MacBook Pro and iMac models with M3 chips. These new devices were launched on November 7, so we may see a similar series of events this year.

Rumors suggest that Apple plans to launch four new Mac models with M4 chips before the end of the year: An entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips , a new iMac with the M4 chip, and a completely redesigned Mac mini with the M4 and M4 Pro chips.

With the exception of the new Mac mini, these devices are expected to be light refreshes with an emphasis on chip upgrades, but they may debut with 16 gigabytes of memory as standard on all models. Some of these devices are apparently already in mass production, which might suit a November launch date.
