It may feel like the peak of winter, but we're here to introduce you to the hot trends that will take over our heads in summer 2024.

Although the year 2024 started off quite dull in the local fashion scene, businesses worldwide are still broadcasting, and recently, we've even been exposed to all the new trends in hair design that will flourish as we enter the summer months.

Ilan Margalit, the ambassador for L'Oréal Professionnel, tells us that the standout trend in hair colors is dark roots with a lighter shade that continues with a play of brighter colors like sandy, blond, and more.

Black Abyss

For women who love dark and deep hair colors, meet Black Abyss - a black shade with reflections from the depths of the sea (blue, red, purple, and green). This is currently one of the strongest trends in hair colors, allowing you to deepen the black color and give it unique twists. This trend is inspired by AI and highlighted hair colors.

Pearlescent Balayage

Balayage color techniques not only stay with us but also deeply root in the field. It's a technique for creating soft and very natural shades that illuminate the face. What's beautiful about this technique is the natural look, just like the shades created by the sun.

With the younger generation, it is already evident that the French Balayage Pearls are shining. The FRENCH BALAYAGE PEARLS range features shades ranging from pink to butterfly blue.

In the field of hairdressing, several significant changes can already be seen. After getting used to cutting hair in a straight line in recent years, says hairdresser Eli Shmuel, the year 2024 brought with it many more vibrant colors and playful hairstyles, reminiscent of the iconic look with pony curtains, which are one of the prominent features of the 70s. This combination will gain momentum and become a leading trend.

Another strong trend is a return to bob hairstyles. The bob haircut, also known as a Gibson or bob, will be seen this summer in short to medium lengths and is characterized by a straight line, with the focal point often being the height of the bangs and usually featuring a curtain fringe. If you follow hair trends, you surely remember that the bob hairstyle made a comeback over five years ago and has become one of the leading hairstyles on the streets and major runways.

Honoring curls

Curls - natural hair is back... It seems that the obsession with straightening has become tiring, and curls are returning to their natural texture and simplicity. Allowing your hair to be in its natural texture is the trend, and we are seeing it with natural curls all around the world. Many celebrities, such as Daniella Greenberg, Shlomit Malka, Zendaya, Vanessa Hudgens, and Alicia Keys, are giving freedom to their curls. These powerful women also showcase their amazing natural curls with uncompromising style, proving that curls are the ultimate fashion statement.

Speak to me in verses

Regarding the hair extensions industry, Ilan Margalit says that the method of using beads will dominate in 2024. It is a new and very delicate method that does not cause damage and does not weigh down the hair. The extension is attached to the hair using beads and sewing thread, with the type of hair used being premium virgin Russian hair.

The method is good for both thickening and lengthening the hair without weighing down the roots.
