The computer giant announced that the new operating system update includes new AI tools that will facilitate the use of artificial intelligence but will also enable it to generate new profits.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly taking over every technological corner, and now Microsoft is stepping up a gear: The company has launched a series of changes in the artificial intelligence tools in Windows 11, based on ChatGPT, and it will even add a special key on keyboards to allow direct use of artificial intelligence.

The new additions link various applications within the operating system and computer to the new component called "Co-pilot." Through Co-pilot, one can make requests from the artificial intelligence in Windows, from ordering delivery, requesting recipes, shopping lists, to preparing presentations. These will enable faster use of AI features and, according to the company, "smarter."

At the end of March, another update will arrive that will allow using Co-pilot to change elements and functions in your operating system, such as changing battery-saving plans, and accessibility adjustments like enlarging the text or changing screen contrast. The improvements are expected to yield handsome profits for Microsoft: the common thread between those additions is Microsoft's ability to track queries presented to artificial intelligence, so it can offer you deals through its advertisers and partners.

Microsoft also announced the addition of new features to its cloud-based "Windows 365" service, which forces more and more users, especially when browsing public institution sites like universities, to log in with authentication. The new development, as hinted by the company, will no longer require the use of a password.
