Even if you have small children or not, you cannot ignore the existence of Purim.
So it is true that due to the Iron Swords War many of the big events have been canceled, but at the end of this week and at the beginning of next week there will be a variety of activities for the whole family throughout the country. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the weather and enjoy what nature has to offer, visit museums, go to reserves and sites and support the tourist businesses, which are trying to return to a kind of routine in the shadow of the war. Purim in "Ano"
At "Ano - The Museum of the Jewish People" families are invited to take part in an experience that combines a visit to the "Heroes" gallery, which interactively presents pioneering Jewish personalities, followed by a route through the three floors of the museum around exhibits dealing with Purim content. During the visit, you can discover the historical book of Esther from the 16th century, the gallery of Jewish humor and intriguing costumes. The route will be accompanied by a designed map with entertaining puzzles. At the end of the visit, you can dress up and accessorize with costumes and take pictures in a special photo booth, or dine in the museum's food section and get to know traditional foods that the holiday has to offer.

Purim in the port
The Port of Tel Aviv invites families to a world full of sweetness. During the Sunday of the holiday, the port will be decorated with a giant candy gate, a trail of lollipops and sweet houses. Travelers will be welcomed by a giant Cookieman cookie and other sweet characters. On the occasion of the holiday, the Council for the Preservation of Sites will hold a variety of events and activities at heritage sites throughout the country. Purim with ultra-Orthodox in Jerusalem
Have you always been interested in seeing how Purim is celebrated in the ultra-orthodox community? On Monday, Yad Yitzhak Ben Zvi will tour the ultra-orthodox neighborhoods and alleys of Jerusalem. On the tour, the travelers will be exposed to the unique atmosphere and traditional holiday customs of the ultra-Orthodox community: the unique costumes, the reading of the scroll, Purim feasts, the delivery of the dishes, the evil Haman doll that hangs in front of everyone and more. The tour will pass through Haredi Street, Nachalot and the heart of the city.

Illusions in the Jerusalem Science Museum
Dozens of interactive exhibits will await the children and help them understand that for the brain, Purim is all year round. The children will go on a journey following the functioning of the brain and try to understand what creates the illusion and how vision is affected by what the eye perceives. For example, they will be able to check if numbers really float, how can it be that brown and orange are exactly the same color, and more.

Magic in science and technology
The National Museum of Science, Technology and Space at the Technion in Haifa will hold a variety of fun activities for the whole family during the holiday, such as: the scientist in the mask - guessing who the scientists are behind the most fascinating experiments and discoveries, photo booths and the "FOOL ME" exhibition of science meets magic, which reveals the kept secrets of magicians.Also at the museum, the new exhibition "Travelers in the Stream", centered on an electric vehicle suspended upside down, which provides a unique and interactive view of its internal parts; Open Science Park; Maze and construction room in Lego.

Baking workshop at Adosh's
In honor of the holiday, Adi Shmuel, aka "Adush", opens her home in Kibbutz Beit Ha'Emek in the Western Galilee, and invites families who love manna ears to a formative and experiential baking workshop. The workshop will open with a reception that will calm the hunger of the morning and give a boost of energy. In the workshop you will make sweet manna ears, salty manna ears, colorful purim butter cookies and surprise buns. Each boy and girl will leave with a delivery of dishes and a recipe booklet.

"Looking" for Ben-Gurion
David Ben-Gurion held many positions in his adult life. Among his clothes that are still in the closet in the "barracks" you can see his survival suits, the IDF uniform and even the work clothes - the "khaki" - that are identified with him. During the holiday, visitors to the barracks will be able to learn about his life and heritage, be exposed to his clothes and create his image with the different outfits .
In the Ben-Gurion barrack complex is the original residential barrack, where everything remained as it was during the 20 years that Paula and David Ben-Gurion lived there.
