Friday Fair Returns to KKL-JNF Street in Beersheba
Enjoy the revival of the Friday fair in Beershebas KKL-JNF with 30 stands, businesses, bars, restaurants, street musicians, and a farmers' market offering regional delights.
For the first time since the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War, the Friday fair at the KKL-JNF Street pedestrian mall in the old city of Beersheba returns - not before undergoing a welcome facelift.
The fair, initiated by the Municipality of Beersheba through "Goals" - the municipal company for business development in the city. That is another way to wake up the historic street and and make it a recreation place for the whole family. The fair will be held from March 29, every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will include over 30 booths and exhibitions.
The booths at the renewed fair will offer art and handicraft products, original creators and designers, decorative accessories, plants, vintage collections and second hand clothes, records, books, gadgets, lifestyle products and a variety of other unique products. The visitors will be able to enjoy the diverse businesses in the pedestrian mall, the various shops, the lively bars offering a variety of drinks and cocktails and the rich food avenue, street artist shows and more.
Along with the fair, the farmers' market will also return, which will be held four times during Fridays. The market, held by the municipality with funding from the Development of the Negev and Galilee and National Resilience Ministry, will offer agricultural produce, jams, honey, wine, cheeses, flowers and spices, alongside live band performances. The market will be held at the KKL-JNF Street on Fridays March 29, April 5, April 19 and May 3.
