The storm shirt: Louis Vuitton proves which side they are on
More than five months of publicity, yet public opinion remains unchanged. The latest storm surrounding Louis Vuitton's new Palestinian flag logo t-shirt sparks strong reactions from followers.
If on October 7 we thought that something had changed in the world's perspective, every time we are badly surprised again. The fashion world has more than once chosen a side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and caused us heartache. If you have forgotten, a few months ago we were still angry at Zara for choosing to shoot a campaign in black/red green, and now we are facing another disappointment. This time the elite fashion brand Louis Vuitton is responsible for it.
Those who follow the brand, surely got to see their latest drop, which they proudly announced on the website. Only thing, the new collection includes a white t-shirt with the brand's logo.
Apparently this was supposed to be another T-shirt made of soft cotton jersey, only they made sure to paint the LV logo associated with the brand in surprising colors, so that even the gold chain on the collar was swallowed by the echoes of the market. And no, the market this time was not for the price, which is about NIS 2,500 more or less.
We must point out that the choice of colors for the logo on the side of the shirt - red, black and green, is a statement for everything. And since, in the eyes of many surfers, the brand chose to take sides, they were quick to respond on the "Louis Vuitton" Instagram page as well. Angry reactions included displeasure that the brand was "showing its true colors" and that they would not buy more of the brand again and throw away what they had.
