From IDF-inspired jewelry to footwear, Israeli fashion trends continue to reflect national pride and unity.

Since the beginning of the Iron Dome war, Star of David jewelry has become a popular and sought-after fashion trend among the Israeli population. Now, a footwear brand is releasing an item that further reinforces our sense of belonging.

Israeli footwear retailer SCOOP has decided to show solidarity with IDF soldiers by launching a unique accessory for shoes: a military disc with a Star of David pendant. The pendant, in a dark silver color, is attached to a military disc that can be connected to any shoe with a buckle or zipper, including boots.

Stylist Liath Ashuri was chosen for the task of combining a Star of David pendant hanging on a chain of military discs, inspired by the IDF. Ashuri explains that the inspiration was naturally drawn from the current atmosphere, as the Star of David holds a strong meaning for all of us today. She says, "I chose to add a frame to the Star of David to reinforce it and preserve it, as a symbolic message that each of us will feel strong, wrapped, and protected."

According to Ronnie Insaz, from the SCOOP network, "In these difficult patriotic times, we thought about how an Israeli footwear brand could convey messages, feelings, and statements to the many who choose to walk with the Star of David and express brotherhood, strength, and identification with the country." He adds, "The accessory we designed allows everyone to express themselves while identifying with the complex situation in which the State of Israel finds itself."

Insaz further explains, "We will sell the pendant at a symbolic price, which is the cost price of SCOOP." So, if you wondered, it will be sold at a symbolic price of NIS 9.90.
