Apple will allow the iPhone to track accessories that transmit Bluetooth, even if they are not manufactured by Apple. This morning Google is also expected to announce the possibility of tracking.

Soon you will be able to find the accessories you lost easily, even if they don't have an Air Tag: Apple plans to add in the next software update the option to track more accessories that broadcast location, after forcing its users until now to equip themselves with an Air Tag. Google is expected this morning (Monday) to announce the possibility of tracking accessories, even those that are turned off.

Apple's Air Tag revolutionized: for those who don't know, it is a tiny disk powered by a battery, which transmits its location to the iPhone. You can attach the disc to your key chain, wallet, bag and find it easily using the "locator" app on your cell phone. The app also makes it possible to locate other accessories of the Cupertino-based technology giant, including iPods, tablets and other iPhones in the vicinity.

Now the new developer version of Apple's operating system IOS 17.5 has reportedly revealed a new code that makes it possible to track more accessories, even non-Apple ones. According to the report, the application will signal that there are other accessories in the vicinity, which can be found using the iPhone. Users will also be able to choose not to share them with others, to maintain privacy.

Google doesn't care about the yeast either, and is expected to announce today the Find my device network that will allow devices to be located even if they are offline. These include headphones, and discs like the "Air Tag". Google has not yet specified which other accessories can be located through the application, but the announcements have already raised concerns among many surfers about privacy violations that regulators around the world will be forced to set a red line for, in an era where privacy is shrinking.
