The latest film starring Zendaya and Josh O'Connor made us ponder the scenes where they both don simple tees, hinting at the next summer sensation.

Right after the premiere of Challengers, Zendaya's latest movie, we momentarily set aside discussions on power and obsession, strangely (but fittingly) focusing on a specific T-shirt. Many looks inspired by tennis worlds caught our eye (especially during the film's promotion), but undoubtedly, the next hit is on the horizon.

Who hasn't grimaced at the irritating phrase "I TOLD YA"? Admit it, there's nothing more unsettling than realizing the righteousness of a close one's advice, acting contrarily, only to find out they were right, while they flaunt that awful motto in your face (but it's fun to be on the other side). So, it's precisely the simple T-shirt that appears three times on two of the movie's central characters - Zendaya and Josh O'Connor with the three-word inscription "I TOLD YA." It all began with a scene featuring the beloved actress declaring she "doesn't need anyone to love her," continuing with the unfolding events as the shirt passes to him, stays with him for a few years, leaving her with the iconic stamp.

Now, the brand, Loewe, announced the launch of a line of T-shirts and sweatshirts inspired by the piece from the film, including the trendy inscription - and we certainly anticipate a significant marketing success. The Spanish label worked on the unisex collection featuring pieces in gray (like in the movie) and white in a lightweight jersey style, perfect for wearing oversized, with jeans and slide sandals throughout the approaching warm season.

So, how much does it cost to resemble Zendaya? The T-shirt is priced at NIS 925, and the sweatshirt at NIS 1,900 on the brand's website. The design from the film is replicated for Zendaya's character and was worn by the actress during a press junket. Meanwhile, O'Connor, the co-star, sported a more clever version on the red carpet, with the inscription in black on white on a button-down shirt, paired with black blazer and trousers while promoting the movie premiere in London.

Costume designer Jonathan Anderson explained in an interview with WWD that the shirt is an exact replica of one worn by JFK Jr., the son of a former U.S. president. At the time, he wore it in a whimsical style, tucked into his pants while playing with his dog in the park. "When JFK was younger, in the '80s and '90s, there was a sort of effortlessness in his wardrobe - as if he could wear anything, and sexual appeal would always be there," Anderson said as part of the interview, making it easy to see why he stuck to his "playful" look when taking the central inspiration for the character of Patrick (Josh O'Connor).
