For the first time in the world: the cyber startup company Zero Networks launches a fully automated solution to prevent damage from user identity theft.

Cyber security start-up Zero Networks, a leading provider of Zero Trust solutions for network security and user identities, is launching new and unique fully automated user identity segmentation capabilities within its cyber platform. At a time when the theft of user login information is becoming one of the main threats to organizations, the new solution prevents the abuse of a privileged user account by automatically limiting access to only operational needs.

The user identity segmentation solution from Zero Networks is automatic, does not require the installation of hardware or software components on the end units and enables multi-step authentication (MFA). In the first 30 days after installation, the solution learns all logon details and automatically creates policy rules that limit users' access to necessary organizational assets only and at the same time block access to all other network assets. All network administrator accounts are restricted with just a few clicks and network administrators must verify their identity with multi-factor authentication before gaining access to sensitive servers.

"This is the first time that a process that until now has been very complex in service accounts has been fully automated. We can tell security managers, data managers and IT network managers that they can solve without any effort on their part one of their biggest concerns regarding unmonitored network and service manager accounts. When the platform of Zero Networks is installed, anyone in the company can publish their username and password on the Internet and this information will not help any attacker," said Benny Lakonishuk, CEO and co-founder of Zero Networks. "Once an organization is hacked, most hacks end in a ransom demand, which is the trend The fastest growing among hackers, responsible for 70% of data breaches resulting from malicious, and 25% of all data breaches. Zero Networks is committed to making network security simple and our new, fully automated solution for user identity segmentation enables the platform to segment anything and connect everyone securely."

Alternative solutions that control user access rights such as Password Vaulting or Microsoft's Tiered Model are often vulnerable to attack or require very complex installation and management. Unlike them, the automatic solution of Zero Networks can be installed in minutes, without adding costs and complexity and while complying with the principles of "zero trust" and limiting access to the minimum necessary.

Performing user identity segmentation on the Zero Networks platform offers benefits such as:

Eliminating the risk of stealing user information: restricting user accounts to different services prevents unauthorized access and the movement of attackers from computer to computer, known as identity attacks such as Pass the Ticket, Golden Ticket and Kerberoasting.

Acceleration of regulatory compliance and readiness for cyber insurance: tight control and automatic limitation of service accounts (Service Accounts), and a requirement for network administrators to identify themselves with multi-step verification before gaining access to sensitive servers, while blocking all access rights in the other situations.

Zero Networks solves one of the most complicated problems in cyber security - how to prevent, and not "just" warn, attackers from moving through the corporate network to steal data or execute a ransom attack. The company has developed a fully automated SaaS platform that studies all network traffic and limits the access of every computer and every user in the organization to the minimum necessary - and requires multi-step authentication in sensitive operations. The SaaS service is implemented in minutes and starts running in only about 30 days - compared to several years that are required to implement other segmentation solutions that often do not provide comprehensive protection.

Zero Networks was founded in 2019 and is managed by Benny Lakonishuk (CEO) and Amir Frankel (CTO). The company has raised $45 million in cumulative since its inception, of which $20 million in the B round that closed at the end of 2023. The company currently employs 55 people, 35 of them in Tel Aviv, and the rest in offices in the US and Europe. The Zero Networks solution was launched in March 2022 and in light of its pioneering capabilities, it was successful unusual in the world market.
