A bug in iPhone devices leaves the alarm clock silent, causing users to be late. Apple admits the issue and is working on a fix to resolve the problem.

If you're an iPhoneist and you didn't wake up in the morning - you're not alone: Apple says that following user reports, a fault was found in the alarm clock that causes it to remain in "silent" mode. The company said that they are working to fix the problem.

The affair started a few days ago, when reports spread on social media about people who were late for work because the alarm clock didn't go off. In the morning program of the NBC channel, they published some of the complaints that were forwarded to the Apple company, which said that a bug was indeed found in some of the devices and they are working to fix the problem.

It is not yet clear how widespread the problem is, but in the meantime, there are some steps you can take: First, you should not rely on Apple's alarm clock for the time being. In addition, make sure under the fence that the volume of the ringtone and notifications is turned on.

In some cases, the alarm clock is silenced due to the "attention" function: when this is activated, looking at the device weakens the alert ringing. To turn it off, go to Settings, Face ID and turn off the option. In addition, make sure that the selected notification sound is indeed a sound that is heard, and that the "no sound" option was not mistakenly selected. You should also do a "tool test" and try a few times to activate the alarm clock and check that it actually works, just before you leave it on guard to wake you up for a new day.
