The wine features a clear pink color with strong citrus notes and a summer floral aroma, along with flavors of ripe peaches and citrus fruits. It’s clean, crisp, refreshing, and round, with a long finish. Pair it with cheese, good bread, and fresh fruit. Price: NIS 75.
For Weekend Mixologists: Holy Bitters!
Ever notice how a single drop of the right seasoning can make everything taste better? That’s exactly what bitters do.
Bitters are the "salt and pepper" of the cocktail world, the "umami." These are complex and concentrated extracts of botanical materials, citrus peels, leaves, and herbs that add a pleasant bitterness and complex aromas to cocktails.
Mixologists Mor Koral and Uri Gopher created a quartet of bitters that elevate any drink, from a standard gin and tonic to vodka on the rocks, giving them a fun kick of flavors.
The seasonal series currently includes: Citrus, Hawaij, Za'atar, and Frankincense, offered at a special introductory price. Treat them to the idea and treat yourself to a drink. Price: NIS 100 for 100 ml. Available for purchase.
