Olympic athletes receive LEGO figures in their likeness
Athletes and coaches of the Olympic delegation to Paris received LEGO figures of themselves as part of a solidarity day at Wingate.
Arkia is warming up engines for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, which will take place in a few weeks. Last week, a solidarity event was held at Wingate organized by the Olympic Committee for the Olympic Games.
As part of the special day, the airline, the official carrier for the Paris 2024 Olympics, presented athletes and coaches of the delegation with LEGO figures from LEGO Store Israel, in their likeness.
Judokas Peter Paltchik and Raz Hershko simulated a judo battle with the dolls, with Hershko winning on points while Paltchik claimed he let her win.
"We are excited and proud as we approach the Olympic delegation's flight to Paris 2024 in July and wish the athletes to soar as high as possible," said Liath Sumer, Arkia spokesperson.
