Chooka Asian Kitchen wins tender to operate restaurant at Terminal 3 duty-free area.

With the summer season in full swing and an increase in outbound flights, the Israel Airports Authority announced that the Chooka Asian Kitchen chain has won the tender to operate an Asian restaurant in the duty-free area of Terminal 3. Chooka will join other eateries such as Baker Bakery, which will open two cafes in the departures hall, and Café Café, which will manage the dairy restaurant in the central duty-free area. Additionally, Moses and Tatti chains are also expanding their presence.

Chooka will commence construction of the new service area immediately, aiming to open the restaurant within a few months. Chooka, a nationwide chain known for its quality, quick-service Asian food at affordable prices, will offer a menu combining classic Asian dishes, sushi, and stir-fried options, catering to the needs of passengers looking for a quick yet satisfying meal.

Today (June 24), the Israel Airports Authority is expected to release another tender for the operation of two cafes in the departures hall and the public area of Terminal 3. The winner will replace Ilan’s, the current operator of the cafes. According to the new tender policies, food prices will match those at local market cafes. Additionally, each cafe will sell five items from the "basic product basket" set by the Airports Authority, including a half-liter of mineral water for 8 NIS and a large cappuccino or croissant for just NIS 12.

Today, approximately 58,200 passengers will pass through Ben Gurion Airport on 348 international flights. In total, around 29,700 passengers will depart on international flights, while about 28,500 will arrive in Israel.
