Confused about which suitcase to fly with? This is something to consider

For some of us, sending a suitcase into the belly of the plane is big no no, so we make sure to cram all the things into a trolley. But on longer trips, this option sometimes doesn't exist and we have to say goodbye to the cargo dear to our hearts.

Because once the case is out of our hands, we never know in what condition we will receive it, or if at all in rare cases. Even assuming it won't get lost or hurt in any way with our good luck, we still have ways to make sure it doesn't go through a lot of trouble on its way to us. That's how it turns out, according to the luggage handler named Rachel Bacha. 

Bacha, who lives in the US, often shares flight tips on her TikTok account, in one of which she explained why it is better to choose a suitcase with 4 wheels than with 2 wheels. She explains that depending on the existing equipment, one handler will throw the bags into the holding area of the plane While another handler will arrange them all inside, so they can fit as much as possible in there - it all depends on luck.  But to move the bags from the entrance to the back, the bags will be, she says, "rolled / thrown away. So if your bag has 4 wheels, it rolls. If your bag has 2 wheels, it will be thrown away."

If you've ever encountered a suitcase with broken wheels, you're probably making the calculation in your head that the more wheels there are, the higher the chance they'll get damaged, but apparently in this case the ground crew's work method actually works in our favor. In any case, from years of experience, usually 4-wheeled suitcases are simply more convenient to operate.
