The shared scooter company BIRD is rolling out a special offer for Saturday rides at just NIS 5 in six cities in the Dan region. The company is also upgrading its helmet mechanism.

BIRD, the pioneer of shared scooters in Israel and globally, has announced a special summer offer: Saturday rides for only NIS 5 in cities across the Dan region. This deal, representing a discount of about 75% off the regular price, is valid for any ride up to 15 minutes every Saturday during July, from 6 a.m. to midnight. The discount will be automatically applied to all qualifying rides and will be available in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Bat Yam, Holon, and Ramat Hasharon.

In addition to the special offer, BIRD is introducing new helmet mechanisms and helmets across its fleet in Israel. The new mechanism, set to replace the older system on all devices, is designed to encourage more helmet use by making it rider-friendly and convenient. The new helmets feature a red chip that is housed in a black box on the handlebar. Once a scooter and helmet rental is confirmed, the red chip automatically releases from the holder, allowing the rider to start their ride.

Ran Broder, CEO of BIRD Israel, commented: "BIRD is prepared for its fifth summer in Israel and will continue to provide high-quality and safe service to residents of the Dan region. Beyond the affordable Saturday rates that facilitate easy mobility, we are introducing a helmet mechanism that addresses our riders' needs, allowing for easy, comfortable, and above all, safe helmet use."

BIRD, which operates in over 350 cities worldwide, launched in Israel in August 2018 and now manages thousands of scooters in various cities across the country. The company remains a leader in the shared scooter industry, committed to providing quality, safe, and innovative service to its users.
