Epson's new EH-Q series: Enjoy 1,000-Inch screen with cutting-edge technology
Epson's EH-Q laser projector series offers gamers, sports fans, and home cinema enthusiasts an unmatched home entertainment experience.
Epson has introduced its new EH-Q series, comprising three advanced laser projectors designed for movie buffs, sports fans, and gaming enthusiasts. These "lifestyle projectors" use cutting-edge 3LCD laser technology to deliver 4K super-resolution images that remain bright even in well-lit rooms, projecting on screens up to a massive 1,000 inches. All this comes in a compact, easy-to-set-up package.
The EH-QB1000 model (with 3,300 lumens) offers a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and can project up to 300 inches, while the EH-QL3000 (with 6,000 lumens) and the EH-QL7000 (with 10,000 lumens) models can project up to 1,000 inches. Featuring a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and deep blacks, these professional-grade home projectors include a range of image-enhancing technologies, such as 4K interpolation, to ensure smooth visuals and exceptional resolution for detailed viewing.
With HDMI 2.1 connectivity, a refresh rate of 4K/120Hz, and automatic low latency mode, the projectors provide a smooth gaming experience. The stunning picture quality and enormous screen size make them ideal for watching sports games and movies.
At the higher end of the range, the EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000 models are compatible with a wide array of interchangeable lenses and can be easily configured to deliver the desired image size with optimal quality in any projection space. These models can also be converted into short-throw projectors.
Motorized lens shift, along with motorized zoom and focus, ensures quick and easy installation, while near-instant heating and cooling times contribute to outstanding convenience. Additionally, the energy efficiency and long laser life (up to 20,000 hours) add to their appeal. Support for Crestron, Control4, and wired RS232C/LAN connectivity means the projectors can be seamlessly integrated into a smart home network for an even more comfortable viewing experience.
According to Kobi Cohen, head of projection at Epson Israel, this is an exciting new product line for the company and its customers. "We are confident that all three projectors will be a huge success. The demand for large-screen entertainment with high-quality images in bright living spaces or dedicated home theaters has never been higher. These projectors are packed with technology and features that make them attractive to movie lovers, sports enthusiasts, and gamers looking for a more immersive experience."
The price starts at $8,000 for the base model in the US (pricing for Israel is yet to be determined).
