Salus is a private clinic located in the Museum Tower in Tel Aviv, offering innovative personal medical management services, overseeing all medical affairs under one roof by leading experts in their fields.

The 600-square-meter clinic was designed with two entrances: a private entrance for exclusive monthly subscribers and another for the various treatment rooms. These entrances are separated from each other, each with its own reception area.

"The business vision of Salus was to create a space for subscribers that does not feel like a clinic. A space that exudes a calm and relaxed atmosphere while integrating professionalism and trust in the company. This vision is reflected in the design, with light colors combined with subtle greens, symbolizing health and innovation, which is a recurring theme in various elements throughout the space," explains Orly Dekter, responsible for the planning and design of the prestigious project.

According to her, "The design concept was inspired by the company's name, SALUS, the goddess of health in Greek and Roman mythology and the daughter of the god of medicine. Hence, we emphasized incorporating Roman motifs and subtle design elements of that era. For example, we used travertine stone with delicate veins, created columns and rounded elements, and included other features added during the space's furnishing stage."

The clients sought to achieve intimacy by creating open and semi-open spaces for personal meetings with experts or with the clinic's staff, who accompany the clients throughout the year. Thus, the central space of the private entrance includes a reception area where a hostess guides the patient to various rooms, public waiting areas such as a buffet area with a seating bar, and a special lounge separated by movable partitions made of wooden frames with rattan fabric.

The lounge is a unique space in the private entrance, aiming to create a homely atmosphere, as if sitting in a living room in a relaxed environment. The selected furniture is light and rounded, and light-colored curtains run the length of the significant window in the space, adding a soft feel. The curtains also obscure the outside view but primarily convey the desired atmosphere for the private clients. The curtains and overall textiles in the space were designed by textile designer Ella Shlomov from ELLA DÉCOR Studio.

Another space includes doctors' rooms, clinic staff areas, and waiting corners integrated into the transition spaces. To continue the semi-open concept, the room partitions are made of glass, with curtains that can be drawn beside the glass partitions, creating the division between waiting areas and the rooms themselves. The airiness of the curtain screening provides a non-alienating feel, simulating a home-like environment as much as possible.

The space was previously a law office, which was entirely demolished, including all internal partitions between different rooms and public areas, all ceilings and systems, and was restructured fundamentally to achieve the functional and innovative space that the clients desired.

The clinic's exclusivity and elegance are evident in every custom-designed carpentry item. These pieces maintain a consistent design language with meticulous elements, such as rounded kitchen edges, special arched bookcases, dividers in the bookcases, various elements in the reception desk, and materials harmoniously aligning with the Roman design.

In conclusion, Dekter explains, "In planning and designing a space that bridges visionary entrepreneurs and exclusive private clients, it was crucial throughout the planning and process to precisely choose and combine materials to convey a luxurious and restrained style."
