This three-room, 100-square-meter garden apartment in Or Yehuda was purchased as part of the "Home in the Park" project. It’s home to a mother and her adult son, with interior designer Inbal Daniel guiding the clients from the initial planning stages through to the final details of the home’s design.
The mother requested a modern home with clean lines and warm tones of beige, gold, and black, evoking a hotel-like atmosphere with a spacious garden. Due to her passion for cooking, she sought a kitchen that was not only beautiful but also highly functional, a place where she could comfortably cook and bake.
"I designed a functional kitchen with two stovetops and a spacious island to serve the homeowner’s needs. The large island functions as both a work surface and a dining table. Next to it, we designed a substantial pantry for extensive storage. The kitchen cabinets are in a golden-beige tone, with a porcelain granite countertop in black with natural veining, combining an earthy feel with luxury, courtesy of Laminam," explains designer Inbal Daniel.
Daniel opted to lower the ceiling to create a decorative ceiling with recessed lighting and air conditioning vents, giving the space a clean, modern look. In the living room, a custom-built TV wall was designed with both wall paneling and a storage unit. The sofas are in light tones, complemented by cozy, stylish armchairs.
To maintain a spacious and pleasant environment, the family decided to forgo a dining area and instead purchased a practical, stylish console table, which they use for hosting.
In the master suite, a light greige adjustable bed was chosen for maximum comfort, paired with a bronze glass TV cabinet, adding a touch of richness. The suite features warm parquet flooring, a white curtain stretching from ceiling to floor, and a headboard accent wall with wallpaper, all evoking the feel of a luxury hotel. The son’s room was designed to his preference in dark shades of gray and black.
