Israeli travel group Aviation Links acquires Asa Extreme's activity, joining forces to develop and market the innovative brand Extreme Travelers.

Aviation Links, an Israeli travel group, has acquired Asa Extreme's extreme sports travel activities. Together, the companies plan to launch and market the new "Extreme Travelers" brand, designed to offer a broad spectrum of extreme sports tours around the world. The joint venture, managed by the Asa brothers, aims to provide an extensive selection of surfing, diving, water sports, and sailing trips worldwide, leveraging the operational tourism expertise of Aviation Links.

The collaboration also envisions expanding beyond surfing to other adventure sports, including skiing, motorcycle tours, and jeep expeditions. As part of the agreement, the joint company will hold exclusive import and marketing rights for several popular surfing brands, such as Cabrinah, Dakine, Wind, XenonBoard, and Flysurfer.

Amit Zeldman, CFO of Aviation Links, commented on the acquisition: "This purchase reflects our group's continued expansion into new content areas. The world of surfing and extreme sports complements our tourism offerings as a one-stop shop in the industry. Additionally, it introduces new audiences to our group's activities, which presents an exciting challenge for us. We believe strongly in content-driven experiences in tourism, particularly in surfing and extreme sports travel."

Oriya Asa, founder and owner of Asa Extreme, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: "This collaboration with the established company Aviation Links is a natural continuation of the growth in the extreme holiday and kite-surfing sectors, both in Israel and globally. The partnership will elevate extreme sports in Israel to new heights and, with our experienced instructors, will offer surfers and extreme sports enthusiasts more accessible and diverse options in the near future. This includes surfing opportunities in pristine locations like Mauritius, northern Brazil, Vietnam, Cape Verde, Sri Lanka, and more."

The company plans to expand its activities into parallel extreme sports fields such as wave surfing, cycling, diving, sailing, and skiing. "This is a truly exciting moment for us," Asa added. "I welcome this collaboration and am confident that combining our strengths will lead us to new horizons, along with our clients."
