Apple plans to upgrade the iPhone SE in 2025 with a completely new design, inspired by the iPhone 14.

One of Apple's most intriguing devices, the iPhone SE, is expected to receive a major update next year. New reports from Bloomberg reveal that the budget-friendly iPhone model will undergo a dramatic facelift, incorporate advanced technologies, and come with a higher price tag.

According to estimates, the fourth-generation model will ditch the outdated design based on the iPhone 8 and adopt a modern look inspired by the iPhone 14. This will include a 6.1-inch OLED display, flat edges, and a notch at the top. Additionally, Apple will introduce Face ID to the SE for the first time, eliminating the traditional home button with its fingerprint sensor.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature the A18 chip and upgraded hardware, allowing it to run Apple's latest artificial intelligence capabilities, branded as Apple Intelligence. The device will also boast a 48-megapixel primary camera, providing high-quality photos, alongside 2x optical zoom.

Another key innovation in the iPhone SE 4 will be a new 5G modem developed by Apple itself. The modem, codenamed "Centauri," will help Apple reduce its reliance on external companies like Qualcomm and improve hardware-software integration. Additionally, this new modem is expected to significantly enhance battery life, especially in energy-saving mode.
