Introducing the VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE-PR1855, Remington’s tough and ergonomic design for effortless, smooth shaves. But does it live up to the price?

Shavers can be delicate gadgets. It's not just about how they operate, but also about maintenance. For many shavers, a single drop—or a few—can render them unusable. Remington, imported by official distributor "Sharig Electric" in Israel, has introduced its latest model, the VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE PR1855. This shaver boasts a sturdy, ergonomic design built to withstand impacts. With three flexible shaving heads and a dual-blade rail system, it aims to provide a smooth, close shave efficiently and comfortably.

The new Remington shaver offers 100% waterproof protection, allowing worry-free rinsing. This is a major advantage. Additionally, its robust design prevents damage from drops, while the ergonomic shape ensures maximum comfort in various grips.

The shaver features three flexible heads with a dual-blade rail system, ensuring full adaptation to facial contours, neck, and jawline for optimal shaving results with minimal time and effort. It also comes with a dedicated head for trimming stubble, along with a foldable trimmer for styling sideburns and beard lines, delivering a neat, organized look.

So, is it worth the price?

The shaver is priced at NIS 299 and comes with a 5+1-year warranty from Sharig, subject to the terms on the Sharig website and in the warranty certificate. It’s an impressive price point in a good way, but of course, comparison is key. And if you’re going to compare, why not with another Remington model?

Design and Finish: As usual with Remington, there’s no disappointment here. This shaver is sleek, feels high-quality, and is easy to operate.

This is a machine you don’t have to worry about dropping or getting wet. I’d definitely recommend the PR1855—budget permitting. It's also certified kosher by the Tzomet Institute.

Available at select electronics stores, authorized dealers, and the official distributor’s website.
