On a corner lot, in one of the Sharon seats, an elegant and impressive house was recently built that is hard to ignore. This is the home of a couple in their 50s, residents of the moshav with 3 teenage daughters, who decided to build their new home in their natural environment and so it was. The area of the lot is 350 square meters and the area of the house (with a basement floor, ground floor, living floor and an attic that serves as a living unit of their large house) is also 350 square meters. Thanks to correct and precise planning, Dan and her team were able to create for them an inviting front yard and a back yard rich in functions, including a pool.
"The fact that it is a corner lot that overlooks two of its sides towards open areas contributed a lot to us creating a luxurious and experiential living space," explains Dan. "It was very important to us to create an open house, as bright and airy as possible, surrounded by large display windows that greatly strengthen the connection between the outside and the inside."
The impressive representative starts from the entrance to the field. Those who come are greeted by a front facade covered with decor coverings in the lower part above which are disconnect strips that give it a European-elegant appearance in a recent interpretation. For the facade flooring, Dan chose Blue Stone, the entrance door is a 3-meter-high solid wood door painted in a white shade and the blacksmithing works in a black shade that creates a contrast.
Upon entering the house, we will discover a more modern and cleaner look that will be seasoned with classic touches that add character and interest, for example, the colors that are based on pure shades of gray, white and touches of wood. Dan chose to cover the floor of this floor with gray natural travertine stone. One of the significant hinges on the entrance floor is the spacious kitchen with an island in the center and from it an exit to the sitting area in the front garden. The staircase is also an impressive design "piece" and well defines the functions on the floor. The structure consists of suspended concrete stairs that appear to be floating, on which are oak planks.
On the wall, she incorporated slatted frames that are an echo of the European facades. The geometric glass railing adds an airy dimension. Dan designed a detached plaster ceiling with hidden peripheral lighting and where the curtain rods are integrated - another detail that corresponds with the meticulous modern design. The living room is cozy and inviting and has a deep, spacious and luxurious seating system and a couch.
The fireplace is a FOCAL POINT around which it is pleasant to curl up in the winters. Its front is covered with polished concrete and through this wall the air conditioning system (VRF) is also hidden. The textiles such as the carpets and curtains add plenty of softness and define the space well. The large showcase openings, from floor to ceiling, bring the outside in in the best possible way.
The dining area is in front of the staircase. It is open towards the living room and from it an exit to the garden. Dan chose a table with an open oak top for entertainment and dark wooden legs. The comfortable and luxurious chairs are upholstered in rich and luxurious fabric. The kitchen is modern, clean and fully equipped. Dan chose integral smooth facades, oven painted in a fresh white shade. The island in the center of the space was surrounded by a polished concrete surface and above it a dominant and impressive lamp made of black iron and glass shades.
The guest services on the floor are hidden and intimate. They are located on a lower level to which only 4 steps lead. An entrance hall, where a hand washing sink welcomes the guests. Dan designed a black sink cabinet with classic Louis legs to which she matched a concrete sink and an antique brass faucet coming from the wall. The brass mirror and the lamp compliment and contribute to the design concept. The ceiling of the bathrooms themselves is particularly high (3.5 m).
The walls were covered with wallpaper and on their backs were installed laistes that give the space a European look. When you go up to the living floor, you are exposed to the oak parquet floor which creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The couple's bedroom suite is particularly pampering and reminds us of those we are used to seeing in boutique hotels. It has many showcase windows as well as an exit to an intimate balcony. Dan made sure to plan for them a complex that is impressive in appearance and just as important, practical and comfortable, for example a closet that creates a necessary separation between the bedroom and the bathroom. In the bedroom she made sure to incorporate luxurious and rich textiles such as the wallpaper on the wall of the bed and the bedding. The chests on both sides of the bed are made of American walnut wood combined with iron and brass. The couple's bathroom is covered with porcelain granite tiles in a fishbone pattern.
The bath cabinet is classic in appearance with Louis legs that add a dimension of luxury. Also on the living floor - two suites for their daughters designed according to the style and taste of each of them. The wardrobes with the glass doors, the ceiling fans, the double beds and the rich textiles together create a particularly luxurious and enveloping atmosphere. The upstairs laundry room is spacious, bright and planned in detail. The cabinets, through which plenty of storage spaces are hidden, were designed in a parallel axis with a painted floor in the center that adds interest to the clean and bright space.
In the attic is the bedroom suite of the eldest daughter. Its area is about 80 square meters and it has a spacious bedroom, a closet, a bathroom and a large outdoor balcony with a sitting area. The sloping ceiling, made of bleached natural wood contributes to the feeling of height and airiness in the space. The backyard was carefully planned and has various functions for entertaining that create a lifestyle experience A hanging pergola above the exit is made of an element that continues the classic and clean line that characterizes the facades. Family members and their guests enjoy a swimming pool, a living room area, and more that illustrate how optimally utilizing a not very large area can create a dream home.
