Meet the wrinkle remover you'll want to take on vacation
Tefal introduces the innovative Tefal Pure Pop handheld steamer, ensuring you no longer have to make an effort to look sharp.
Newpan, one of Israel's leading appliance importers, launches the new Tefal Pure Pop handheld vertical steamer, featuring an innovative design and advanced technology — a device you'll be proud to pull out of your suitcase on vacation. At first glance, no one would even guess that it’s meant for ironing.
This new steamer from Tefal, a leading iron brand in Israel, is considered groundbreaking both in terms of efficiency and design. Proof of this is its win of the prestigious Red Dot design award, a testament to the perfect blend of design and technology. The manufacturer promises an easy, intuitive, efficient, compact, and portable ironing experience anytime, anywhere. And since ironing is usually cumbersome, time-consuming, and not exactly portable, this new product seems promising and intriguing.
On a personal note, I have purchased at least three products that promised easy and lightweight ironing that could be taken in a suitcase for vacations. To make a long story short, none of them stayed with me for more than a week and eventually ended up in the recycling bin.
Since my suitcase is always ready for spontaneous trips (whether for work or leisure), and clothes that wrinkle easily don’t usually make it in, I couldn't resist the offer to "test it out in real conditions." So, I took it on my next trip, the one from which I'm currently packing to return home.
Spoiler alert: If you need a lightweight steamer for traveling or small apartments where an ironing board isn’t practical (whether you're a student in a dorm, a young person in a shared flat, a business traveler, or a family or couple that takes more than a few vacations a year), go ahead, really — buy it.
Manufacturer's Promises
The Tefal Pure Pop provides comprehensive care for every item in your wardrobe. It purifies and refreshes clothes with a simple, one-handed motion, making wrinkles disappear like magic. It's gentle on all types of fabrics, even the most delicate ones. It comes with a dual-sided pad, one side for perfect vertical ironing and the other for refreshing and removing lint.
During the purification process, Tefal's new vertical steamer promises to eliminate 99% of bacteria, providing a high level of hygiene.

The Testing Process
As mentioned, I took Tefal's new steamer on vacation after testing it at home. I tried it on my eldest son's uniforms, my youngest son's T-shirts for a quick ironing session just before leaving the house (since he always waits until the last minute, and setting up an ironing board and waiting for the iron to heat up is not an option), my button-down shirts for meetings, and my beachwear, which looks like a rag after the dryer and belongs to a future soldier who spends her time between the sea and the gym until she enlists in the IDF and adds more uniforms to the laundry pile.
During use, I discovered features that make this product revolutionary. It truly managed to surprise me, positively! Here are the reasons to rush and buy it:
Ease of use: Comes with a carry bag, a 2-meter power cord, a comfortable grip handle, and is lightweight, so it doesn't strain the wrist even during prolonged use.
Efficiency: Allows close ironing to eliminate stubborn wrinkles and ironing from a distance of about 5 cm, where wrinkles disappear due to the hot steam directed at them. For close ironing, I used an ironing board while at home, or the outer side of my suitcase, a desk, or a bed as "alternative ironing boards" outside the house. For distant ironing, I used the back of a chair or a hanger.
Portability: The carry bag is sealed, strong, comfortable, and lightweight, fitting into any suitcase. Its size is comparable to a hairdryer, making it worth the price considering what it offers.
Quick response: Once the water tank is filled (directly under the faucet), it heats up quickly and is ready to use in just 15 seconds.
Water tank: It is sufficient for a single garment, and sometimes you may need to refill it during use, but it remains ready for immediate use without the need to wait (the manufacturer mentions a 3-second reheating time).
Design: Its design doesn't compromise functionality. To the untrained eye, it looks like a chic hairdryer or a handheld hair removal device, not a traditional iron, which is typically seen as a "heavy" appliance to use.
Price: Excellent value for money — its affordable price (NIS 379) makes it a worthwhile product. If you fit the target audience I described earlier, you will get your money's worth. For some of you, it might be the only iron you need to meet all your ironing needs.
Conclusion
Ironing, usually considered a cumbersome chore done by mothers, homemakers, or housekeepers, becomes youthful, light, and efficient — so much so that young people, men, and teenagers over the age of 12 will be happy to use it quickly before leaving the house.
The stylish Tefal Pure Pop handheld steamer comes in four unique colors: red, blue, green, or yellow.
Recommended retail price: NIS 379. Available at selected retail chains.
