This is a beautiful private house in the Sharon, measuring 400 square meters, where a family lives, a couple + 3 children. The owners of the house asked the interior designer Eti Atias to pour warm, modern features, with clean and minimalist lines. According to Atias, "the couple, perfectionists, do not Compromise, choose every detail carefully. 3 years ago when the project started and the black trend dominated, a number of important dark elements were chosen, little by little and during the process we updated the design details in the house with complete control of light tones, starring white, stone and beige."
The furniture chosen for the house was designed together with OKNIN's home designers, speaking the same language as the project: minimalist, clean and warm, with straight lines and at the same time, rounded silhouettes and rich and natural fabrics. In the living room, white, dominant seating systems star, with two rounded coffee tables that soften the space, a leather armchair, and large doors that bring in the pool and garden for those sitting in the living room.
The powerful staircase wall is covered with natural stone that creates warmth. It is a wall that climbs to the upper floor starting from the basement, rises to a height of 10 meters and is the FOCAL POINT in the space. A dominant and central wall. The stairs that have a floating mirror, contribute to the minimalism that the designer wanted to create. Next to the stairs is the sculptural dining area, designed by OKNIN. Its plate is straight, and the legs consist of two plates that are placed at different and intriguing angles.
The kitchen is designed as two strips, with the island serving as a work surface and seating for diners. The island is designed with a diagonal marble leg to create uniqueness and power. The kitchen is made of blackened oak veneer and marble that simulates stone/concrete with a rough texture. At the entrance to the house, Atias designed a built-in bookcase. The closet is used as storage for all the mess that is usually left at home, such as umbrellas, bags, shoes, etc., and in the other part it is used as a library with tight shelves, hidden lighting and white accessories to create a harmonious and clean look.
The master suite was carefully designed with a huge wardrobe with transparent fronts and a practical island in the center for additional storage, fishbone parquet was chosen for the master space, and a light beige headboard with a game of blackened mirrors. For the bed, which was also designed at OKNIN, the designer chose a smoky gray shade and its frame is dominated by straight lines. The ceiling TV screen, with an elevator in the plaster ceiling, to open and close when necessary. The entrance wall to the bathroom is covered with bathroom tile for a perfect connection between the different spaces.
On the basement floor, a family room was designed with a double-sided sofa from OKNIN, which divides the space into two spaces, thus one space for sitting and the other for the little ones - at the same time. In the family room, the designer knew how to combine shades of green and gray that introduce playfulness and interest, a fishbone floor and wooden carpentry games. Atias designed the outdoor space, outdoor kitchen, coverings, seating areas and more.
In conclusion, Atias says: "In planning, we went down to the details and applied all the innovations available in the market to create a clean and minimal look as possible, such as line 0 doors covered with tiles in the bathrooms or in the mirror, cut-off profiles in the ceiling and floor, hidden and recessed lighting profiles, smart home systems."
