Razi'el Winery, the younger sibling of Castel Winery, partners with top restaurants to debut its white wine.

After founding Castel Winery in 1992 and relocating it to Yad Hashmona, Eli Ben-Zaken found himself eager for a new challenge. This led him to establish Razi'el Winery at its original location in Kibbutz Yekum. Over the past few years, Razi'el has offered a selection of red, rosé, and sparkling wines. Now, after five years, the winery expands its portfolio with the Razi'el Blanc, launching it during a month-long wine celebration across various restaurants. This marks the fifth wine in Razi'el’s collection.

The new wine is crafted from Roussanne grapes grown in the Naama Vineyard in Neve Ilan, hand-harvested at the end of summer when the grapes turn a distinctive orange hue, earning their name ("Rousse" means "redhead" in French). These are complemented by Viognier grapes from Tzuba Vineyard.

Razi'el Blanc is characterized by a velvety texture and a complex aromatic profile, with notes derived from aging in large oak barrels. Despite its rich complexity, the wine maintains a crisp acidity that delivers a long, refreshing finish.

The wine's launch began at Ruti Brodo's R2M Group restaurants and expanded to others in what the winery has dubbed "Razi'el Month." This includes special menus accompanying the wine and a broad promotional campaign.
