Weekend Activities: Hennessy Basketball Tournament

In celebration of the launch of the limited-edition HENNESSY NBA bottle, Teder and Hennessy Cognac, the official sponsor of the NBA, are hosting a competitive streetball tournament with prizes under the name "Ballout."

From November 6 to 9, the Romano House courtyard will transform into a basketball court designed in collaboration with the "Splash Project."

This project, founded by Liam Shrem, who was tragically murdered on October 7 in Sderot, aims to restore and repaint community basketball courts in disadvantaged neighborhoods, in collaboration with renowned artists. The court at Romano House was designed by artist Adi Nahum.

Beer for the Weekend: Gogo Apricot

Gogo Apricot is a hazy IPA beer brewed with apricots, created in collaboration between Horizon Brewery from Hungary, a new brewery from Beersheba, and Melzer Brewery from Rishon Lezion. The beer, a hazy IPA with added apricots, has an unfiltered, cloudy orange color. Its hoppy flavors are complemented by a strong fruity bitterness, with the use of apricots (about 10% of the recipe) instead of industrial fruit puree, resulting in a fruity, aromatic, and slightly sweet apricot beer.

This beer isn't too light for summer but has a full-bodied richness and flavor depth that pairs well with food.

Price:

NIS 26 for a 440 ml can.
