With shipping to Israel: Buy sneakers that look like the iPhone emoji
A fashion brand named ABCD has created an exact replica of the iPhone sneaker emoji — and you can order them now. The price? $220, with shipping to Israel available.
Do these sneakers look familiar? Designer José Wong found inspiration in an unexpected place, and now everyone wants to wear his latest creation. These sneakers, called "Shoe 1," are remarkably familiar — a precise replica of the iPhone sneaker emoji. Priced at $220 (NIS 880), they are sold under Wong’s ABCD brand.
How accurate are the details? The "Shoe 1" replicates every aspect of the emoji, from the external shape to the smallest features. Even the insole design is inspired by the internal components of an iPhone. The packaging resembles Apple's minimalist style, with simple white lettering on a white background.
The sneakers are made with a full-grain nubuck leather upper (a texture similar to suede but more durable) combined with mesh for ventilation. The midsole and heel are constructed from lightweight EVA foam, while the outsole contains 5% recycled rubber.
If the Shoe 1 and the Apple running shoe emoji look familiar, it’s because their design resembles the New Balance 574, first introduced in 1988. However, while Steve Jobs was known for his fondness for New Balance sneakers, he was often seen wearing the 991 and 992 models.
Currently, the Shoe 1 is available for order in the U.S. sizes 5 to 12 through the ABCD website, with shipping to Israel.
