Yes increases prices: Extra charges for premium channels and VOD

This means a customer will pay an additional NIS 5 for each content package they subscribe to, as well as an additional NIS 5 for paid VOD services, making the total price increase potentially amount to tens of shekels for those who hold multiple packages. The price hikes will take effect from January 1, 2025.

It should be noted that the basic package will not increase in price, and those who hold a "basic" and minimal subscription will pay less. However, Sting, which is originally designed for customers looking for a more affordable basic solution, will also see a NIS 5 increase for premium channels and VOD.

Yes responded by saying, "The price update is not expected to affect most customers and focuses solely on paid premium channels and VOD libraries. The update is due to an increase in VAT and the consumer price index, as well as the rising costs of production and operations. Yes will continue to offer its customers the broadest, highest-quality, and most diverse content, alongside continued support and investment in original productions and the local television industry."
