Yitzhak Tshuva opens a hotel in a surprising location in Israel
A stunning project in Ir Yamim, Netanya, includes two hotels with 600 rooms, restaurants, and boutiques, aimed at strengthening Israeli tourism and its economy.
Yitzhak Tshuva, the controlling owner of the Tshuva Group and Delek Group, laid the cornerstone today (Monday) for a new hospitality, business, and conference complex in Ir Yamim, Poleg Beach in Netanya. At an emotional ceremony attended by Tourism Minister Haim Katz and hundreds of guests, invitees, family members, and friends who honored the event with their presence.
The complex is a unique beachfront resort spanning approximately 80,000 square meters and is expected to include two hotels with 600 rooms. The first hotel will be a luxury spa hotel featuring therapeutic baths and hammams on the rooftop, offering a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. The second hotel will serve as a conference hotel, with an international conference and events center that includes an elegant event garden located between the two hotels. The project will also include a commercial strip of 4,500 square meters, housing a variety of boutiques, bars, and restaurants that will contribute to the cultural and leisure life in the area.
In his remarks, Yitzhak Tshuva emphasized his determination to continue building and developing the State of Israel: "This is a moment of deep faith in the glory of the State of Israel, our response to all who wish us harm - to continue to grow, create, and build. We are capable of this, and with God's help, we will succeed. Our faith in the State of Israel and its economy is unwavering and non-negotiable! We are confident that Israel is the safest place for the Jewish people and the best place to invest. We will not allow anyone to undermine our security here!"
Tshuva added that the expected contribution of the project will strengthen Israel's economy and improve its status as a leading tourist destination: "The investments we are making here today are a symbol of Israel's strength and its ability to thrive even in difficult times. This project will not only provide over 1,200 jobs but also contribute to tourism and the economy, strengthening the city of Netanya and Israeli tourism."
Architect Gal Naor, Tshuva's daughter and project entrepreneur, emphasized the uniqueness of the initiative: "The project we are launching today will not be just another regular tourism project. It is a dream becoming a reality - an architectural gem of a level not yet seen in Israel. This project is built out of deep commitment and strong belief, and it will be a magnet for people from all corners of the globe - a focal point of beauty, excellence, and national pride."
Naor noted the challenging period that preceded the project: "Six months into the war, when so many of us experienced moments of uncertainty, when heavy clouds seemed impossible to disperse, my father stood before us and said confidently and resolutely: 'I believe in the State of Israel. I believe in our economy, and I will continue to invest in our country.' In those difficult moments, those words shone like a spotlight in the darkness, touching the hearts of all who sought hope when it seemed so far away. And now, as time has passed, we see how that faith is beginning to materialize. We do not only remember what we have gone through but also look forward with hope."
