Tel Aviv terror attack victim dies of his wounds
Or Eshkar was critically injured in the terror attack in a terror attack in Dizengoff center last week. His family has chosen to donate his organs.
A victim of the March 9 terrorist attack in Tel Aviv has died of his wounds, Ichilov Hospital reported on Monday.
In an Instagram post, Or Eshkar’s girlfriend, Lee Menachem, eulogized her late partner, saying, “You left with a heart that knows true love. I promise to be like you would want; I will live in your light and not in your shadow.”
Eshkar’s family has chosen to donate his organs.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We hoped and prayed. But, unfortunately, Or Eshkar, who was injured in the terror attack in Tel Aviv, succumbed to his wounds. It’s heartbreaking. I extend my condolences to his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing.”
President Isaac Herzog wrote, “My heart is torn by the death of Or Eshkar, who was fatally wounded in the terror attack at Dizengoff. A few days ago, I spoke with this brave mother, and together with all of the people of Israel, I prayed for his recovery. I send condolences to his family, his partner and his loved ones during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.”

Details of the attack
According to Tel Aviv District Police Commander Amichai Eshed, one terrorist was killed after the attack. The search for other possible terrorists continues.
Early reports and footage indicated there were two terrorists with guns.
Eshkar was critically wounded in the shooting, and after intensive surgeries, his condition initially stabilized.
Despite this, his condition deteriorated and he died on Monday.
