Israeli forces capture Hamas terrorist in Nablus operation

The Hamas operative was identified as Muhammad Saleh Hamdan. who has been arrested in the past by both Israeli and Palestinian authorities.

IDF soldiers from the Duvdevan unit arrested a Hamas operative in Nablus on Wednesday morning.

The operative was identified as Muhammad Saleh Hamdan. Hamdan has been arrested in the past by both Israeli and Palestinian authorities.

The Hamas operative was shot and wounded during the arrest after attempting to run away. Hamdan was transferred for questioning by security forces.

What else did Israeli forces do in Nablus?

Earlier on Wednesday morning, the IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Border Police entered Nablus and mapped the house of the terrorist who conducted the shooting attack in Huwara in which Yagel and Hallel Yaniv were murdered. The mapping was conducted in order to examine the possibility of demolishing the house.

During the mapping, Israeli forces fired at armed terrorists who fired at them and threw explosives at them.

Additionally, 26 individuals were arrested overnight on suspicion of terrorist activity as part of Operation Break the Wave, including in Ya'abad, Ni'lin, Kalkilya, Ain Umm Ashrat, Abu Dis, Aqabat Jaber and Beit Ummar, among other locations.
