Shaare Zedek Medical Center confirmed the admittance of eight injured children in the trauma room.

A bus with children aboard overturned near Beit Shemesh on Wednesday, according to police and Magen David Adom.

Magen David Adom (MDA) medics and paramedics treated the 33 bus passengers, including children between 8 and 12 years old.

MDA teams referred seven wounded to the Hadassah Ein Kerem and Shaare Zedek hospitals, including two in serious condition, one in moderate condition, and 30 in light condition.

Injured evacuated to nearby hospitals

Paramedic Oshri Adri and MDA medics Yishai Glick and Shmuel Pashkos said, "We quickly arrived at the scene and saw the bus upside down on its side in a ditch near the road.

"All the passengers got out of the bus, most of them got out alone and some were rescued, the driver and children aged 8 to 12, all were fully conscious. We performed an initial screening of the bus passengers, two of the children suffered severe injuries. ...We administered first aid and quickly evacuated them to the hospital when they were in serious condition. In the trauma room, one of them was ventilated."

"Another wounded person was evacuated in moderate condition and about 30 were evacuated in light condition with dry bruises."

Shaare Zedek Medical Center confirmed the admittance of eight injured children in the trauma room, one in serious condition, one in moderate, and another six in light condition.
