Gaza rocket hits apartment building in Rishon Lezion, three wounded
Magen David Adom forces are searching the building in fear of civilians trapped in the rubble.
At least three were wounded after an apartment building in Rishon Lezion was hit with a direct rocket impact following a barrage of rockets on central Israel from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday night, Israeli media reported.
Residents of the buildings were evacuated from the buildings. Magen David Adom forces were searching the building in fear of civilians trapped in the rubble.
One woman, 48 was rushed for treatment after being lightly wounded by rocket shrapnel. Two more were lightly wounded, MDA said.
More rocket falls reported in central Israel
More rocket falls were reported, with another seen in Rishon Lezion and another in the moshav of Kfar Sirkin, near Petah Tikva.
According to Magen David Adom, two Israelis were lightly wounded in the hit on the moshav, including a 13-year-old who was wounded while seeking shelter.
