One resident of the community reportedly received a gunshot wound to the leg.

Three terrorists who tried to infiltrate the Adora settlement, near Hebron, on Friday evening and carried out a shooting attack were killed by Israeli security personnel.

An IDF reserve soldier was moderately wounded in his leg in the initial attack. The soldier, 34, was evacuated to a hospital for further treatment.

Following an alert regarding an attempted terrorist infiltration into the community, the Home Front Command issued orders that residents of Adora take shelter in buildings, lock the doors, and close the windows.

Three terrorists eliminated

Israeli security personnel quickly arrived on the scene, pursued the terrorists, and killed them in the nearby Adora industrial zone.

During searches by these security forces and additional special units in the area, IDF reserve soldiers from Battalion 5060 eliminated the three terrorists in the industrial zone adjacent to the community shortly after the shooting.

"We were in the middle of Sabbath (Friday night) dinner on base in Hebron and ran as quickly as possible to the incident," Company Commander Representative Sgt. Mulet of the 5060th Battalion told The Jerusalem Post.

He revealed that he and the team of soldiers who were scanning the settlement were scanning the area when they noticed suspicious movement and proceeded to open fire, ultimately eliminating the terrorists.

He reassured the Israeli public, "You have who to trust. We are here to protect you, especially after October 7."

“This is a significant attack that was prevented thanks to the coordination between the patrol units of the territorial defense battalion and the civilian security who reported the incident, to the reserve soldiers who swiftly responded and eliminated them after multiple forces were deployed,” said Col. Yishai Rozilio, commander of the Judea Regional Brigade.

“In recent times, we have trained our forces and systems extensively for this moment, and when the moment of truth arrived, the terrorists encountered a powerful, unified, and determined force. This is how it will be for anyone who seeks to harm us.”
