The commander of the 52nd Battalion in the 401st Armored Brigade, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, was moderately injured in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood in the Rafah area, Israeli media reported Sunday.
He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and his family was informed.
