Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a meeting with the head of the Yesha Council, Israeli media reported Sunday.
The meeting was scheduled amid reports that the White House is considering imposing sanctions on government ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir.
According to reports, the Yesha Council was angered by Netanyahu's decision and that the council would meet on Sunday night to discuss further steps.
