One in critical condition from rocket interception, several northern towns told to remain indoors
The Merom HaGalil Regional Council, in a statement, told residents they should limit their activity to indoors until further notice.
Suspicious aerial targets were downed by the IDF or fell in open areas following alerts activated in the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights, the IDF stated on Wednesday.
The intercepted aerial target caused a fire to break out in a forest in Kadita, near Safed, KAN reported.
The Galilee Medical Center in Safed stated that two individuals were wounded as a result of the interceptor falling in the Western Galilee.
A 27-year-old man from Kafr Yasif was hospitalized in critical condition as a result of severe shrapnel wounds, and is reportedly sedated and on ventilation. Another individual was in minor condition as a result of falling on the way to a protective shelter.
Tamir Engel, the Safed municipality's spokesman, stated, "In the last few minutes, an alarm was sounded in Safed."
"We are still in the middle of the event, so we must be attentive and listen to the instructions. There is a fear of falling parts of interceptors, so one must stay in the protected shelters for 10 minutes. We will update you as soon as possible."

The statement listed the following localities: Alma, Rehaniya, Dalton, Kerem Ben Zimra, Kfar Hoshen, Bar Yohai, Or HaGanuz, Kadita, and Meron.
The Council directed other localities in the same council to follow the directives of the Home Front Command, which currently remain unchanged.
