Since the Israel-Hamas War began, 713 soldiers have been killed, including 346 since the start of military ground operations on October 27, the IDF said.
“A very sad morning,” President Isaac Herzog wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday. “Four flowers – a heroic paramedic and three brave fighters – have fallen, and their comrades were injured yesterday in the fierce battles in the Gaza Strip. I embrace their families and loved ones. May the memory of Naim, Bakri, Toaff, and Shimon be blessed and forever held in our hearts.”
