Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu summoned senior security officials as well as a handful of ministers at 10:00 p.m. local time on Friday for an urgent telephone consultation discussing the possibility of expanding the conflict against Hezbollah, Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported.
The consultation follows an Israeli strike on Beirut that killed Hezbollah Radwan Force and Operations Division commander Ibrahim Aqil, along with other high-ranking Hezbollah Operations commanders.
