'Hezbollah targets hit are less than 10%,' former national security chief Amidror
Yaakov Amidror served as National Security Council head from 2011-2013 under Netanyahu and has been a long-term member of the security establishment.
Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror, former Head of Israel’s National Security Council, spoke to Grodka on Kol Berama's 'The Main Edition,' commenting on the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah.
“We are not in a full-scale war; we are not destroying the Dahiya, and they are not firing on Tel Aviv,” said Amidror.
He noted, "All the targets we [Israel] have thwarted are less than 10% of Hezbollah's targets.” Amidror criticized Israel's strategy over the past two decades, stating, “For 20 years, we preferred to invest in Lebanon rather than Gaza, and the results have been evident in recent weeks.”

Amidror served as National Security Council head from 2011-2013 under Netanyahu and has been a long-term member of the security establishment, having served in some capacity in the IDF from 1966 until retirement in 2002.
Amidror has criticized the current trajectory of the war and the government's handling of events.
He also cautioned that Hezbollah was unlikely to initiate a full-scale war due to the cost to Lebanon, in his interview with The Jerusalem Post Podcast in August.
He also said that Hezbollah was nowhere near as popular as Hamas and that Lebanese people, in general, were against Hezbollah's push for war.
