Rocket sirens sound in Haifa, Acre, Nahariya, and across Israel's North

At the same time, the Israel Air Force struck targets deep inside Lebanon as the IDF operated on the ground in southern Lebanon. 

Several rocket sirens sounded in Haifa and its bayside suburbs in addition to Acre and Nahariya starting 9:01 a.m. Sunday morning as rockets were fired into Israeli territory from Lebanon. 

Following the sirens, the military noted that five rockets had crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon and had been intercepted by the IDF

Later, additional rocket sirens sounded in the area, starting at 9:44 a.m. 

Earlier on Sunday, sirens sounded in several localities in the Upper Galilee, starting at 7:05 a.m. on Sunday.

Alerts went off in Peki'in, Kfar Vradim, and Beit Jann, among other places.

IDF operation in southern Lebanon

In the past day, the Israel Air Force (IAF) struck targets deep inside Lebanon as the IDF operated on the ground in southern Lebanon

The IAF attacked around 200 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including rocket launchers, terror cells, and military structures, as well as other Hezbollah targets.

The military noted that troops had eliminated terrorists, uncovered tunnel shafts, and found weapons.
