Hezbollah rocket shrapnel kills one in North

As of 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the military said that some 120 projectiles had been launched at Israel from Lebanon. 

Sivan Sadeh, an 18-year-old resident of Kfar Masaryk, was named as the individual who had been killed in a Hezbollah rocket attack in Israel's North on Wednesday, Israeli media reported.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said that the victim was killed by rocket shrapnel in an agricultural field near Kfar Masaryk in Western Galilee.

Paramedics who arrived on the scene were forced to pronounce him dead, MDA added.

Hezbollah fired over one hundred rockets at Israel in multiple barrages, wounding two in Avivim earlier on Wednesday and causing minor damage in Israel's center.

A Cessna plane was hit by interceptor debris during flight while rockets were fired at central Israel, with no harm being reported to the two individuals on the plane, KAN News reported.

Following the sirens that sounded in northern Israel and throughout the center of the country, starting at 11:21 a.m. local time, the military said that some ten projectiles were fired at Israeli territory from Lebanon.

Rocket sirens blared across the Gush Dan and Sharon areas of Israel, including Holon, Rishon Lezion, Hertzliya, Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, and Netanya, among other localities.

One projectile impacted in central Israel while most of the others were intercepted, the IDF noted.

Following the sirens, Israel's emergency medical service, MDA, stated that paramedics were en route to the area of reported rocket strikes.

No casualties were reported, apart from 20 individuals who were hurt while running to safe rooms.

According to Israeli media, a hit was reported near Ben-Gurion Airport, and shrapnel had fallen on a vehicle in the Ra'anana area.

Later on Wednesday, starting at 4:17 p.m., rocket sirens sounded again throughout central Israel, in Gush Dan, the Yarkon, and Shfela area.

The sirens were triggered by one projectile that had been fired from Lebanon and was subsequently intercepted, the IDF noted.

Some 50 rockets fired at the North

Separately on Wednesday, Hezbollah fired some rockets at northern Israel, the IDF reported, following the sirens that sounded in the area.

The military affirmed it had intercepted some of the rockets while others impacted in the area.

The Ziv Medical Center in Safed stated it was treating two people in moderate condition who had sustained wounds from shrapnel in Avivim.

Sirens sounded across the Upper Galilee, in Rosh Pina, Hatzor Haglilit, and Safed, among other places in the North.

As of 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the military said that some 120 projectiles had been launched at Israel from Lebanon.

At 6:02 p.m., rocket sirens sounded in the Western Galilee, in Acre, Tamra, and Haifa's bayside suburbs area, among other places. Some 25 rockets were fired at the area from Lebanon, the military affirmed, of which some were intercepted while others fell in open areas.
