A man was hit by a train near Ashdod, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported on Thursday night.
MDA paramedics and medics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment.
The man, approximately 50 years old, sustained head and abdominal injuries. He was subsequently transferred to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer.
